I was going through some of my old word documents on my usb card when I came across some of the scripts that I wrote and co-wrote during TV Production class at Port Richmond. It had to be one of my favorite classes that I took in that school and the whole class really had a lot of fun working on these projects. Today, I'm going to post the first two things that I did with my group and you'll get to see some of my earlier writing.
First up is something that I mainly contribute to Edwin Santiago, who came up with the concept and some of the idea for the dialogue. It was our second project and it was for a fake advertisement. The product is called "Butt-er" and this is a pretty funny read.
Butt-er Commercial
(Girl is walking down the block and two guys are standing across the street.)
Guy 1: Yo… check her out!
Guy 2: Yeah… she’s looking fine.
(Girl walks parallel to them and smiles.)
Guy 1: (Starts laughing as she continues to walk away.) Nah… Nevermind. I can’t tap that. (Girl frowns)
Guy 2: Yeah. She needs something!
Spokesperson: Are you one of those girls who needs something fulfilling? Well we have something for you! (We see a bottle of “Butt-er”) Introducing “BUTT-ER… smooth and bootyful! In just three easy steps you can have the biggest booty in your town. Just squeeze, apply and spread. And within in a day you can blow all the guys away.
(Next day, same spot, same time, same people.)
Guy 1: Yo… it’s that girl from yesterday!
Guy 2: Yeah… remember she ain’t nothing though!
(Girl walks parallel to them and smiles)
Guy 1: Yo… check that out! Hold up! Hold up! Hold up!
Guy 2: Yo… hold up let me holla!
Spokesperson: We guarantee that you will be satisfied with our product and if you don’t believe me, listen to what our users have to say.
(Girl by herself)
Girl: Hi, I was tired of not getting any attention, then I started using Butt-er and now everyone looks at me when I walk down the block! I actually got picked to be in the new Kanye West video. I’m smooth and bootyful!
Spokesperson: Also available we have “Nutt-er” for men who want to pump up their package. And if you call now, for a limited time only you could get “Butt-er” for only $24.99. So what are you waiting for? Get your skinny butt off the couch and call us at 1-555-2BU-TTER.
The second thing I'm posting is concerning a more serious sketch and was a special report coverage. It's still one of my personal favorites from the class and it brings back good memories.
News Script
Narrator: This is a Raider News Special Report with Christine.
(Camera Angle should zoom in to Christine after narrator introduction, make sure the desk can’t be seen in the shot)
Christine:
(Caption: Christine , Anchor)
Welcome to Raider News, I’m Christine with your special report for today. (Move the camera angle a little towards the right so that a inset picture could be place in the upper right hand corner.) Could stress be the real reason as to why young teens are victims of peer pressure? Negative effects of peer pressure could lead to things such drugs, and underage drinking. We sent our reporter Edwin to interview select seniors from the class of 2007 at Port Richmond High School in Staten Island, N.Y. about how they felt about peer pressure.
Edwin : (Camera should be focused in on Edwin, shoot from torso up, leave a few inches of space above his head)
(Standing outside of school) Hi. I’m Edwin and I’m here at Port Richmond High School interviewing seniors from the class of 2007. It was only a few years ago that I had to deal with stress in high school. Now let’s see how high school students today are affected by stress and how are students coping with it. I got a chance to talk with three very different seniors as well as a staff member. I met Sonia, who told me she’s a frequent drug user, Jason, who admitted that he used to let his stress rule over him, Ian , a honor student who claims that he has coped with stress in the best possible way and Mr. Walters, the Senior Advisor who watches over all of the seniors. Each of these people gave me a few minutes of their time to answer some questions I have for them about stress. (Caption: Edwin, Reporter)
Edwin: Now Sonia, Do you feel that stress has shaped your life or beliefs?
Sonia: (stutter, clatter teeth) um, not really, its only depending on what type of person you are and if you’re weak in every way so…. Um…. What were we talking about again? (Caption: Sonia , Port Richmond High School Senior)
Edwin: What do you feel is the root of stress?
Sonia: It might be society, they don’t accept drugs, alcohol, and they don’t want to realize that that’s the only thing that makes us happy. Gosh! I don’t have time for this I’m gonna go get some weed. (Walks off camera)
Edwin: Jason, Statistics say that stress is one of the four killers of America. How do you feel about that and how do you think you will change your lifestyle?
Jason: I think stress is a killer in many ways, when I was stressed I use to abuse animals and take drugs. Stress may also lead to suicide, which isn’t good. I already changed my lifestyle by being drug free for two years and still going. (Caption: Jason, Port Richmond High School Senior)
Edwin: Would you turn to drugs and alcohol as a result of stress?
Jason: Not at the present time I wouldn’t, but back in the day I would definitely have went in that direction. It wasn’t a good way to deal with it.
Edwin: Ian, Do you think stress from home has an impact on how you act outside of your house?
Ian: Most definitely, if you are not being raised in a supportive and positive environment at home, then who are you going to listen to for advice? All of a sudden your role models are your so-called “friends” when you have stress. (Caption: Ian Feldman, Port Richmond High School Senior)
Edwin: Discuss about a time when you were faced with a lot of stress in your life.
Ian: A couple of months ago I was preparing to take the SAT and at the same time I was taking five advanced placement classes. I literally thought I would never be able to do it and I got so worried. Nevertheless I got 3’s on my AP exam and a 1400 on my SAT.
Edwin: Mr. Walters, since you’re in charge of all the seniors, do you feel that students burden themselves with too much stress? Why?
Mr. Walters: I think there are some students who burden themselves with a lot of stress. Sure seniors have certain responsibilities like applying to colleges and passing their class but the seniors should also be able to have fun as well. That’s what being a senior is all about.
Edwin: Do you feel that students deal stress the differently from when you were a student?
Mr. Walters: For the most part no. I think a student would have dealt with conflicts the same way back in my day as they would have today.
(As Edwin is ending his report, he’ll be in front of the school where he started the report. The camera should be facing Edwin and should be slowly pulled back)
Edwin: Now as you can see stress is a major conflict that has been going on for decades and everybody handles it differently. The best option is to just use your head and make the right choices when the time comes. That’s it for now, back to you Christine.
(Cut back to close up of Christine)
Christine: Thank you, Edwin. If you would like to find out more information about tonight’s special report, visit our website at www.raidernews.com. This is Christine for Raider News Special Report. (Cam Zooms out and cuts out)
When we filmed the special reports project, Mr. Walters scene was cut and right after Edwin interviews Jason, we see Sonia getting drugs from her dealer and her dealer got caught by truancy officers.
It's so weird to see how strong my writing was back then, and how much it has improved since. I'll post some of my other scripts from the class later next week.

I Drove My Chevy to the Levee... Goodbye to the American Automotive
The news may not be shocking to many Americans who had been watching the news over the past several months, but the reality is about to really set in as one of America's biggest automotive manufacturer's will file for bankruptcy sometimes this week. General Motors, who has been having financial troubles long before the economic crisis really hit hard last fall, will have no other option but to file for Chapter 11, due to lack of interest in their "Debt for stock" proposal from most of the companies bondholders.
Despite the bailout that the company had received from Congress at the end of last year, they still owe GM bondholders $1 billion , which surprisingly they do not have. The deadline for the $1 billion debt is on June 1st, which GM CEO Fritz Henderson said that the company would most probably file for bankruptcy. It seems that GM will file for bankruptcy and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it tomorrow morning. That of course means that the market is going to plummet and unemployment rate is going to really sky rocket. One thing that I am certain of is that once GM goes bankrupt, things are really going to get ugly and this is going to put a sharp pike in everyone. We live in a society where we are overly dependent on cars and trucks and when the largest automotive company in America goes under, think about how that's going to impact of our lives. All of these workers will be laid off and the jobs are going to be outsourced to outside the United States. It's really disgusting and even if GM manages to get themselves out of Chapter 11, it's still too much. They're better off liquidating their assets and send some of their makers to Ford and the rest outsourced. Remember that Ford, the only one of the Big 3 who has not filed for bankruptcy, will take a slight hit too once GM files for bankruptcy. Ford must find ways to redeem itself from falling into deeper holes otherwise they will meet a fate similar to GM and Chrysler over here.
It also bothers me that the new GM CEO Fitzpatrick has to play a fall guy for Rick Wagoner. Wagoner was able to wipe the dirt off his shoes and get away scot-free leaving his successor in the hot seat. Wagoner had to know that the company was going to go under in a matter of months, so he took Obama's recommendation and resigned from his position. The media should turn the attention back on Wagoner, who is one of the reasons why GM had become involved in the mess that they are in. If you want to read more about GM's bankruptcy deadline check out the link posted.

From The Greatest City In The World It's... A Bad Cliché
Today's blog is a generalized discussion about various topics hence the aforementioned title above. I guess the easiest way to do this is to divide it in separate parts.
Part I - Learning how to not jump the gun.
It seems like my interview with the so called Goffik Girl is not going to happen. I shouldn't actually be that surprised since I emailed her saying that I prefer if she would be as honest as possible and make the people at Encyclopedia Dramatica look like fools. I guess that was me being too preppy. While we're at that, I'm not so sure if we'll ever get to see an Ivy League interview either. Part of that is my fault since I've been so busy working on other stuff but I did email them questions and the moment I get a response, I'll post it up. Until then, I'm laying low on trying to get interviews and if I do get an interview, I won't actually announce it until after I physically get the interview.
End of Part I.
Part II
Where you been, eh? Up to that temple again aincha? You're as bad as your sister coming home from work all hours and all colors. *
End of Part II
Part III - They're killing Nazis, them Basterds
I am happy to announce that Quentin Tarantino is back and he's still just as good as he was back in the days of Pulp Fiction. His latest film, Inglourious Basterds, which is supposed to have its theatrical release on August 21, is something that should be added to your must see summer movie list. Forget G.I. Joe, Inglourious Basterds can be basically described as Jewish American soldiers going Rambo style on Nazis. As Brad Pitt says in the trailer, we're going to be doing one thing and one thing only... killin' Nazis. How can you possibly skip out on a movie like this? For those people, who are Tarantino fans, they know that Inglourious Basterds is something that he has been trying to get to the big screen for almost ten years. The constant push back of the release date for the movie had left fans worried. However, Star Trek has proven to be successful despite being pushed to a later date and for the most part the Half-Blood Prince will be good too. The trailer has dropped that skepticism for me and I'm glad to see Quentin Tarantino still hasn't lost that great skill of combining film noir, humor and violence. You know what's great about a Tarantino movie, it's like a Chuck Norris movie, without Chuck Norris.

Stey Tooned: I Got Uh Intarvue wit Gottik Girl
The title pretty much sums it up. This past weekend i discovered the phenomenon of Goffik Girl, who supposedly brings a whole new meaning to bad writing. For those who read Harry Potter fanfiction, she is the author of the infamous My Immortal, which everyone says is terrible. However, I have my doubts about her and I think that she's just making fun of most of the people who write these Harry Potter fan-fic stories, who are mainly goths. I emailed last night and honestly wasn't expecting a response but she's all up for it so I'm going to compose a few questions and I'll post them soon. If you just Google search Goffik Girl, there will be a link to her story if you are able to handle it. Many people have labeled her as being an idiot or psychotic but I think she's getting the last laugh.

If We Didn't Start The Fire, Then Who Did?
Sometimes things would be so much easier if we looked at the whole picture instead of focus on the little things and blow them out of proportion. In the latest bit of uproar and controversy in America, the Catholic bishops have lashed out on Notre Dame University for inviting President Barack Obama to be the guest speaker at the school's commencement, which occurred yesterday. The reason for the criticism is due to the fact that Obama is a supporter of stem cell research and abortion, which really shouldn't come as a shock to anyone because after all he is a Democrat. Several church bishops, politicians and Notre Dame students had asked the Notre Dame Administration to rebuke the President's invitation and something about this doesn't really sit right with me.
I'm not here to tell you what your views on abortion to be and whether I agree or disagree with your views does not matter here. When it comes down to it, there is no wrong answer because it's what you believe and who I am to say that your beliefs are wrong.
What does bother me is that President Obama was invited to address a speech on how these students must learn to deal with the working world that they're about to walk into. For months, President Obama has said repeatedly that he wants to focus on the youth because they are future. I'm not sure about everyone else but I'm finding it difficult to understand how abortion and stem-cell research has anything to do with rebuilding the American Dream. The Catholic Church has no proper grounds to use Obama's views on abortion and stem-cell research to make such harsh criticism for the college's decision to invite the president as an honorary speaker. No matter how you look at it, it's a clear violation of separation of Church and State and the disgusting part is not one of the local major news stations seemed to really focus about it but it's something that people should be aware about. '
This controversy over inviting President Obama to speak at Notre Dame reminds me of the recent controversy that happened at the College of Staten Island. For those unfamiliar, the drama department put on a show called "The Well of Horniness" and some issues arose over changing the title of the play for promotional ads, which brought up the issue of censorship. I don't really know if people are unaware of what's protected in the First Amendment regarding freedom of speech and the press, or if they are fully aware of it and just use it to put the attention on themselves. The same can be said for this issue about President Obama's invitation and the bishops who wanted to get their fifteen minutes of fame stepped up and made their accusations. There were several people who followed along and some even protested the event. I'll give the media kudos for straying from Obama's views on abortion and stem cell because that is not the story here. However, what the media failed to do is to inform us that there is a limit to criticisms that we can make towards other and to make such a big production over a commencement speech because of someone's political views is a bit pundit and violates that separation of church and state. The media chose to ignore this, which shows us that it's ok to not listen to advice from someone who doesn't agree with everything that I believe in.
By the way, President Obama says that the abortion issue is on the backburner of his agenda and stands a fair ground on the issue saying that he supports it but only in rare situations. Please feel free to leave me any comments.

Spread the Word
There's a lot of good news for me that I would like to share with all of you. First off, while I do have a Spanish final next Wednesday, I am pretty much done with my school work for this semester and I'm so excited for the summer. Although sometimes this semester it felt like I had a lot of school work, I enjoyed this semester and I still found myself having lots of fun. I liked all of my classes and a lot of people in my classes were awesome. I also managed to keep top grades throughout the semester so I wouldn't surprised if i wind up with a perfect 4.0 this semester.
Second, I might as well say this now, Billy Kline, the editor in chief of the Banner, has recruited me to his staff for next year and it is something that I am more than happy to do. On top of that, my journalism professor told me yesterday that he sees me as a columnist so with that I'm hoping to push for a spot on the op-ed section of the Banner next year. I can't promise you that I will get my own section but what I can promise is that CSI students will get the news, information and insights that they need. I think I'll wrap things up right here and to my fellow CSI students I hope you have an awesome summer.

The Comeback Kids: Star Trek, Blink-182, Green Day and More
Last night, I went to go see Star Trek and I must say that it was a pretty awesome movie . The funny part about that is that I was never was a Star Trek fanatic. In fact, I don't think I've ever sat through a full length episode of Star Trek. I've personally always preferred Star Wars over Trek and when I was growing up it was Captain Picard, who was running the ship, not the great Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. However, there is no need to go pick up and watch the original series because the film is done a way where die hard fans will smile when they meet and hear familiar characters and new fans will be able to be introduced to the series as if Star Trek had been introduced to us for the first time. Knowing that J.J. Abrams was doing this i knew it was going to be amazing and the cinematography is no disappointment and Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto make a fantastic Kirk and Mr. Spock. I'm not going to go into further detail about the film because this is not a movie review. The rebirth of the golden age Star Trek is not the only comeback that has arrived for 2009. While last year, we saw the return of Robert Downey Jr. and Hollywood's recognition of Mickey Rourke's comeback (Sin City was his actual comeback.), this year it appears to be the music groups and rappers, who are making a comeback, some of them whom a reunion seemed indefinite. Let's see who's back and worth the wait.
#1 - Blink-182 - After the falling out between Mark and Tom, a reunion between Blink seemed as likely as a Pink Floyd reunion. However, Pink Floyd did reunite even if it was for one night only and so if Waters and Gilmour could bury the hatchet then so could these guys. Unfortunately, no new material has been released yet so nobody really know what the new blink will sound like. I don't really see them going back to their early days and the stuff will probably be more like their last self titled album. I'm expecting to see some fun songs on the album as well as some really serious ones. A four year hiatus usually brings inspiration for good writing material and be prepared for a lot of personal songs when their new album comes. They're kicking off a tour this summer although no tour dates have been set yet. We'll just have to wait and see, what Blink-182 has got in store for us this summer.
#2 - Eminem - I'm actually really disappointed with the tracks I've heard so far off of his new album, Relapse and this is the most immature that he has ever been. Hearing that he had spent some time in rehab, I was expecting a little better from Slim Shady and even the serious 3am is nowhere near as good as "Stan" or "Lose Yourself" although Dr. Dre still provides some good beats. "We Made You" is not even as good as some of his other humorous songs, like "Without me" and "My Name is..." Eminem has to go back to the days of the Marshall Mathers LP when he was angry about a lot of things in his life and just got it off his chest. Here Eminem is just playing off his drug problems like its a joke. A couple of nights ago I watched the video for "Guilty Conscience" and I realized how underrated that song has become today. That's the eminem that I would like to see again.
#3 - No Doubt - I knew that they were playing were bamboozle and i heard that they were awesome, but it wasn't until I saw them perform on Idol that I found myself thinking we're back in 1997? Not only has No Doubt reunited, it's like everything that happened from between rock steady until now had never existed. It's not common to see someone to go from glam back to punk/ska. It's like if Madonna came out wearing her material girl persona. I'm glad to see No Doubt back together, but I'm not as excited as other people seem to be. I've heard their new single, "Stand and Deliver" which is a cover of an Adam and the Ants song and it's alright. I would've rather heard a new song instead of a cover. However, after this tour and new album, i have a feeling we could be seeing another short hiatus, but let's be more than optimistic about it.
#4 - The Dead formerly known as the Grateful Dead - They actually reunited last year but it's this spring's tour that has the buzz. I guess that when the remaining member of the Dead figured out that The Who still sells out stadiums and people are running in groves to request Freebird at a Skynyrd concert, The Dead could still go on without Jerry Garcia and that's what they have. If you love the Grateful Dead then the new band will be just the same as the old one, but if you never got into them then honestly it's not worth it.
before i get to #5, there have been a few other small get togethers and comebacks, Hilary Duff is planning a comeback but I don't care and I'm not sure that many other people care either. Apparently Sublime played a show in March of course with a different lead singer and there are rumors of a tour. Also, Natalie Imbrugulia is making a comeback. Who? She's the girl who wrote Torn> I like that song but it's probably gonna remain a one hit wonder.
Finally #5 - Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown - Green day never went on hiatus, yet they remained very quiet over the past few years, similar to the gap between Warning and American Idiot but now they're back.
Last year, Green Day contributed a song to the Instant Karma: John Lennon tribute album for Amnesty International. Now they could have picked any song from the Lennon catalog from Imagine to Give Peace a Chance, yet they went with the deeply political "Working Class Hero."
We should have known right then and there of the things to come from Green Day. For those that are unfamiliar with the song it deals all of the social unjust that took place during the era of LBJ and Nixon Administration and features powerful lyrics such as "When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years. Then they expect you to pick a career, when you can't really function, you're so full of fear." Apparently Billie Joe sees society's current problems as a repeat of his childhood, when America was fighting a war in Vietnam and he's frustrated about certain things that he just wants to get off his chest and the result is 21st Century Breakdown. I listened to the full length album and I've got lots of good news. First, there are no "Boulevard of Broken Dream" type songs which can be killed by overplay from radio stations, in fact many of the tracks are rebel songs. Second, punk may never go back to the way it was in the 1980s but its certainly not dead and with that I give an extra round of applause to Green Day for being one of the only bands in a world full of so called punk rock bands, who hasn't forgotten about the Clash and the Sex Pistols. The band's first single "Know Your Enemy" has a Sid Vicious feel to it and a little bit of "White Riot" and it's sick. The album is pretty good and probably they're best to date. There is nothing mindblowing or really different from Green Day on the new album in fact they sort of went back to Warning album, which I felt was a good move. In fact, the album is a mix between classic 70's punk, a little bit of John Lennon, and late 90s Green Day and you should check it out. Other people are saying there is a Bruce Springsteen influence also but I'm not a big fan so i can't comment on that. So check out the new album as well some of the other artist i mentioned. You might even like Eminem's new stuff.
This has been Ian Feldman speaking words of wisdom.
Swine Fluke: How to Successfully Market Fear and Panic to the American Public
Yesterday had been a full week since the H1N1 virus, or swine flu virus, had been declared a level phase 5 by the WHO, World Health Organization and although it will continued to be discussed over the next few weeks, the H1N1 virus will probably be contained within a few weeks due to the overstock of Tamiflu available. The reason why I'm constantly using the term H1N1 instead of the Swine Flu is because the government has been trying to stray away from that name due to 300,000 pigs that were slaughtered in Egypt last week. By the way there is no factual evidence to prove that it comes from pork.
However, H1N1 is just too technical sounding and strains of it can be found it humans and birds as well. Which reminds me of something that happened a few years ago called Avian Flu, which by the way has killed 257 people worldwide since 2003 and has infected 16 people in Egypt so far. So instead of calling it H1N1, we're just going to call it the seasonal flu and whether you want to accept it or not, most of these cases are probably just regular flu outbreaks.
How can I be so sure about this? First of all, while the flu vaccine don't seem to be working in this flu outbreak, there is Tamiflu and Relenza that people can take and either one works. Obviously the flu that is going around has some similarities to regular strain otherwise nothing would be working. Another possibility could be that not as many people went to go for their seasonal flu shots last fall, which could place them at a higher risk for getting the flu. Let's say that everybody did go for their flu shots last fall, who's to say that the vaccines were 100% accurate and the last year's vaccines were designed to protect against three types of strains. one of them being for a H1N1 strain.
The following information can be found on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website.
The flu vaccine protects against the three main flu strains that research indicates will cause the most illness during the flu season. This year’s influenza vaccine contains three new influenza virus strains.
If that still doesn't convince those who still suspend their belief, it has been scientifically proven that the body after a while can eventually build up an immunity to a certain strain and therefore a new vaccine must be created and that's basic biology. So please don't let the media scare you into thinking that this is going to bring America to its knees because they're just simply doing their job by reporting the news. However, as Professor Kaufman mentioned in his class today this story really has no big impact on us. It's like a table with a missing leg, sure it can hold up for a while but when people start to press down on it, it just collapses. When the mass media starts to see things subside they will fade away from this and move on to something else. However,we as the media can simply look at all the chaos and panics about swine flu and file it under "G."

The flu vaccine protects against the three main flu strains that research indicates will cause the most illness during the flu season. This year’s influenza vaccine contains three new influenza virus strains.
They are:
- A/Brisbane/59/2007(H1N1)-like virus;
- A/Brisbane/10/2007 (H3N2)-like virus;
- B/Florida/4/2006-like virus.
The 2008-09 influenza vaccine can protect you from getting sick from these three viruses, or it can make your illness milder if you get a related but different influenza virus strain.
That last part is really important because if some high school student, who feels she doesn't need to get her flu shot, goes to Mexico for Spring Break, catches this disease and brings it back with her, that means that anyone who comes in contact with her who took last year's flu shot has a high chance of getting sick. If a survey was done in New York I wouldn't be surprised if almost everyone who has gotten this flu had gotten their flu shots taken last fall.If that still doesn't convince those who still suspend their belief, it has been scientifically proven that the body after a while can eventually build up an immunity to a certain strain and therefore a new vaccine must be created and that's basic biology. Stay Tuned for Interview with The Ivy League
Ivy League Members From Left to Right:
Adrian, Dan, Drew, and Alex
I'm going to be having my first interview and it's going to be a really good one. I've got the Ivy League and they're a really an awesome band. Unfortunately, they're wrapping up their tour in the Tri-state area and next Saturday is their last live performance for a while. However, I'm hoping that I can convince you and maybe you'll come down ton Don Hill's on Greenwich Street and see what these guys are all about. The Ivy League, which consists of members Adrian, Dan, Alex, and Drew are just four young guys, who has built a small but growing fan base due to their catchy riffs and brilliant song writing material. Although their music seems to have influence from modern day artists such as Andrew McMahon of Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin, there is still something very different about The Ivy League that sets them apart from other bands today. Whether, it's because of Adrian's innocent sounding voice or the cool "moog synthesizer" on some of their songs or their awesome stage presence, they're really a band that you should check out and maybe they won't go away for too long. Anyways, for more on Ivy League, you can check them out at http://theivyleague.bandcamp.com/ or at Pure Volume, http://www.purevolume.com/theivyleaguerock.

hello and welcome
I've finally decided to set up a blog of my own and I really want to get something started. Anyways, for those of you who decided to randomly fall upon my blog my name is Ian and to sum myself up I'm a screenplay writing pharmacy major turned English teacher. Anyways, I'm going to keep this rather short tonight but keep in mind that sometimes I can rant for hours about a certain topic. However, I'll spare you that tonight and remind you that this is a blog about us, so feel free to send me something that you want to see posted and I'll gladly post it, unless it's something that would be considered really offensive to a majority of the public or would be a threat to someone's life. So I'll leave with those few short few words, as I adjust to the world of blogging.
